Welcome to our Year 2 homepage. My name is Mr Scullin and I have the pleasure of teaching your child this academic year. I am an experienced teacher with over 16 years’ experience in the classroom setting. The children are also very fortunate to be supported in the class by Mrs Oleksy.
Our aim in Year 2 is to make our children feel happy coming in to school each day: a happy child makes for an excellent learner. We have a busy day in Year 2 and we have put our learning journey for the term in our termly newsletter (attached below). At Our Lady's, we believe the learning journey of each child is a close partnership between home and school, where children get to revisit and embed practices taught in the school day and explored further at home.
